Grand E-Nov+ is the regional agency in charge of innovation and attractiveness of foreign investments. Established in 2018 further the setting of the Region Grand Est (merger of Alsace, Lorraine, and Champagne Ardennes regions), Grand E-Nov+ is present in the 8 main regional metropolitan areas in Grand Est.
On the topic of innovation, the objectives of the Agency are to generate more added value and employment in companies and territories through the development of innovative products, processes, and services with a focus on digital, environmental, and industrial transitions.
Grand E-Nov+ is also in charge of the management of the regional start-up’s accelerator SCALE E-NOV and also promotes cooperation between innovative companies and local territories (Grand Testeur). More and more companies develop dual innovations for example in health with the development of platforms to predict the bio-toxicity or digital innovation applied in cyber-security. ISL (Institut Saint Louis), the French-German research center in Defence as well as a large network of industrial companies actives on the defence/civil markets are active in Region Grand Est.
