The Campania Aerospace Technological District (DAC) was established in May 2012, and it aims to encourage collaboration between research centres, universities and firms in the Campania region in order to foster business opportunities and continuous growth and innovation.
Currently, DAC involves 159 direct and indirect partners, including 22 large companies, 18 Research Centres (e.g. CNR - National Research Council and 5 Campania Universities) and 109 SMEs.
DAC has the capacity to integrate all regional players in the technological and productive supply chain fields, while encouraging them to cooperate with the research sector.
DAC carries out projects to address the regional strategy in the aerospace field, including vocational training and high education, technology transfer and communication, dual use and internationalisation.
