Bretagne Développement Innovation

Bretagne Développement Innovation (BDI) is the regional development and innovation agency for the Brittany region.  With 15 years’ experience in dealing with European projects, 20% of all the agency's activities are in the area of defence and dual use. These are focused on aeronautics, cybersecurity, electronics, ICT, the maritime and naval sectors, and on photonics.

BDI has a strategy for defence and dual use technology stakeholders (as it does for other industrial sectors), supporting specifically SMEs. It maintains links with other defence-related organisations and regions across the EU in the cybersecurity, maritime and naval areas. These include Northern Defence Industries and Marine South East of the UK, Denmark’s CenSec  and the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Tallinn.
